When I get stuck, I need a shift in perspective.

What if I could take little awe breaks during the day? What if you could?

Awe is a complex emotion. It can be positive or negative and can arise from a wide range of stimuli. It's mind-bending and  alters our relationship to time and how we perceive our world.

Dacher Keltner is a professor of psychology at University of California, Berkeley. There he did a 3 year study on awe concluded with a  day-long course called "The Art & Science of Awe".

His findings include that “awe experiences are tied to our relationship to nature, art, and the goodness of other people.” It greatly increases happiness.

Your challenge over the next week is to chose a moment when you need a shift in perspective. Watch the video linked below.

What is it like for you to give yourself a moment to simply bask in a different perspective  of the world you live in?

What do you notice now as you relate back to what you were doing?
