My Life Reflection Framework

Dear Reader - Do you ever wish you could take inventory of your life to see where things are going well and where there are opportunities? Do you want to be more successful? Or, maybe you just want to know how your life is going? Maybe you feel like your life is out of control. For me, I want to live a life that is fulfilling and worthwhile.

Every quarter I like to take inventory of my life by looking quickly across categories

Here's how I do it

Take a look at the grid below and notice I've divided into different sections corresponding to the areas of my life: health & fitness, intellectual, emotional, character, spiritual, love relationship, parenting, social, financial, career, and quality of life.

I take this charge and fill in the score (on a scale of 0-10) where I think each area is.

Once I complete this I have a true picture of where I am on each area. I generally take the two highest areas and determine what I can do to take things higher! I then look at the two lowest areas and create a small action plan to make meaningful change. I'm likely behind on something so it's a nice wake up call to get some stuff done to move up the progress bar.
