If you've followed my writing, or have known me since 2014 then you know gratitude is an important part of my life. A gratitude practice will evolve depending on how long you have been practicing.
After practicing for over a year, I wanted to share two ways I start a gratitude practice today.
Method 1 (when I’ve got plenty of time):
During a 10 minute (sometimes longer) session of priming, I'll dedicate 3 minutes to being grateful for 2–3 memories in the past. I’ll pick the memory and really step into it and imagine myself actually there. I fill myself with curiosity and appreciation for the moment. I’ll then dedicate 3 minutes to being grateful for 2–3 visions I have that have yet to happen in the physical world. I’ll spend time really getting clarity on my vision and all that I plan to create.
Method 2 (when I’m rushed):
I’ll write down three things I’m grateful for. I’ll spend two minutes writing about a joyful moment in the past 24 hours.
I hope some of the readers give this a try.
